For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad (2 Corinthians 5:10 NIV).
Just as the unsaved will stand before God to be judged, so too, will we as Christians stand before our Lord to be judged. The difference is that we wont be standing in the Great White Throne Judgment in which the unsaved will be cast forever into the Lake of Fire. Instead, we will appear before the Judgment Seat of Christ, known also as the bema Judgment. This Judgment is not for the purpose of salvation, but for the determination of rewards for our service to God. Our deeds done as a result of our salvation will be judged. The bad deeds will be burned up so that only the good remain, and our rewards will be determined on the basis of those good deeds. Hence it is important that all unconfessed sin be confessed and brought under the Blood of Christ right now so that we will not be ashamed at His coming for us in the Rapture.

"Some bring God's curse on them by marking off part of the Bible, calling it erroneous, uninspired, less than the very Word of God." - Dr. John R. Rice
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God to salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek." (Romans 1:16)
