"Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints" (Jude 3).

"The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven" (Hebrews 1:3 NIV).

Here is another verse declaring the Deity of Jesus Christ. In Christ we have a very real, visible representation of the substance of God since He (God the Son) became man in order to redeem those who place their faith in Him. I am reminded of another verse of scripture where Jesus Himself declares, "He that hath seen me hath seen the Father" (John 14:9). He sustains all things by the very power of His Word (see also Colossians 1:17).

Pastor Jack Howell
"Some bring God's curse on them by marking off part of the Bible, calling it erroneous, uninspired, less than the very Word of God." - Dr. John R. Rice

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God to salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek." (Romans 1:16)
