Parkway Central wins 4-3. Great game. Evenly matched like the bracket indicated. Congrats to PC for making something of a disappointing season. |

I bet 12:34 and 12:35 is the same person posting. If you care so little about this thread why did you spent time posting on something they care nothing about? and to do it twice. Just shows how big of an IDIOT you really are. |

8: 45, thank you for acknowledging Parkway Central. They did have a bad season, but this cup is there to give them a sense of satisfaction that they weren't complete failures. Are all of you honestly telling me that if you had that bad of a season, and you had the opportunity to play for a cup and feel like all your time was worthwhile, that you would just say fuck it instead? Who cares if this is a cup for the teams who aren't very good. At least they won something.... regardless of how bad of a cup it is...they still won it .... |

This is the worst league out there! I'm sure that half of these kids would get cut from house hockey! What a joke every team playing for this 'cup'if you can even call it that is full of benders who tape their skates. Ha! |

wow....you are so wrong its not even funny...i know some of these kids, and i know for a fact that some of them are on AAA teams, or have been offered the chance. The only reason the teams are so bad is because there can't be such a thing as a one man team....and unfortunately thats what a lot of these teams who end up playing for this cup end up being..... they cant carry the team on their own... doesnt mean that the whole team is bad and would be " cut from house"...watch wat you say next time, especially if you have no idea what the fuck you are talking about....jackass |

Playoffs is tiering at its best. Everybody involved from Mid-States did a great job making the championship game what it should be, fun for the players.
Every team has players on it that could play elsewhere. Last night there were several players playing in the Wick games that were on CS or AAA teams this year or in years past. School districting is what it is, an arbitrary grouping of players by geographical area. Not everybody can flock to a private school to play hockey.
Good luck to those going to Scottrade on Monday and congrats to Parkway Central who played five great games in a row to win their playoff bracket. |

Score 4-3
Goalie at Mehlville good.
Goalie at Central not so good.
Mehlville went to the mini game in both their prior series and Central won their games against North 4-3 and 5-4 (with an ENG) so yea, I would say the games are more evenly matched than many other series.
The Wick game were especially close as well. |

6:33 "This is the worst league out there!" Midstates is the only league out there. Don't post if you don't know what you are talking about. Every team in midstates starts out even at the begining of the season and could qualify for any of the three cups. Realistically your not going to get teams from the Metro falling to the founders nor or you going to get teams from the South or North divisions in the Challenge (if so they would be seeded in the teens at best). But in "theory" (not reality) anything could happen. |

"nor or you going to get teams from the South or North divisions in the Challenge" you can add the Central division to that list also. |

pch player
| Re: FOUNDERS CUP | March 13 2008, 10:38 PM |
uhh i play for pch and the reason we did so bad was because we got placed in that parkway south division which we werent suppose to be in..after going 17-2-2 and ranked #10 last year in all of midstates, we lost all of our seniors and our triple A players were not allowed to play this year, also, midstates should have placed us in the wick atleast, we destroyed fox and idk how they got placed in that |

| Re: FOUNDERS CUP | March 14 2008, 10:06 AM |
10:38 you beat Fox 4-3 that is NOT destroying someone and last years stats don't count this year. This year you were 0-14 in your division with a 5-16 record overall. 4 of the 5 teams you beat ended up in the Founders cup, the only team you beat that wasn't in the Founders cup is Fox and they were the last seed and lost first round. So you are arguing over 32nd place vs 33rd place? Enjoy 33rd place, sounds like you were fortunate to get that. |
