Wick Semi's

I have watched a lot of highschool games over the past 10 years. Last nights SCW and Whitfield game was by far the most intense games I have seen. The games on Saturday were very boring compared to these two equally matched teams. To have SCW be 11 seconds from the finals and then lose in a shoot out is truely hearbreaking. Hats off to Whitfield for never giving up.

The second game was not as intense but still a very good game to watch. It was two heavy weights going back and forth. Carlton (who I've always thought underrated)with his mad dashes up the ice the Finn getting pounded by Duschesne's huge Defense but neither of these two players giving up. It was very obvious that after Pattonvilles top 3 or 4 players they were no match for Duschesne. They played a smart game keeping it close untill the third where they turned on the heat. Too bad their goailie didn't keep his stick on the ice or we may have had another triple overtime.

Whitfield vs. Duschesne will be a Great game my guess better than CBC vs Chaminade.

for the past several years the wick has always been better than the challenge cup. the only challenge cup in recent history that was exciting was the oakville win a few years ago

let's see Carlton on a breakaway that he completely turned Trout Wine inside out and a perfectly set up deflection goal that we practice on.

You know you won and then to come on here and to down grade your opponents shows that what they say about St Chuck schools is true no class. And your a catholic school on top of that.

And your saying that every post on here that is derogatory towards your team (pattonville) is from a Duchesne player/parent/fan? We had nothing but compliments on what a great season you guys had, especially Anti with his 50+ goals, so dont start throwing bricks when you dont know who's on the other end of the computer.

3:45 is most likely an idiot from another school other than Duchesne.

The only thing that needs to be said about the Wick semi final games is, WOW!!!!!!!!!!! SCW vs Whitfield. Pattonville vs Duschene. The challenge cup teams only wish they had the excitement that these teams had. There are no true losers. Each and every player in the Wick series has shined at one time or another. These four teams have more heart than most leagues have. Congrats to all and thanks for some of the best hockey I have ever seen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When 2 teams like SCW and Whitfeild leave averything they have on the ice for the love of the sport and to reach the finals....that is what hockey is supposed to be about. What a great example last night. I know that there are games in the Challenge Cup from previous years that were like that but it was refreshing to see it again.
DHS and PHS didn't have the ot and shoot out that previous game did but there was some good play by both teams. Great goal on the deflection by PHS. Goalie for DHS made a unbelievable toe save on a shot heading low corner.
ya ya ya.. Challenge Cup teams are better and you know it. Too bad, these four teams last night gave a glimpse of what the 2nd tier is all about. No matching pants, helmets, gloves and what ever provided by the rich club. Just hockey..plain and simple.

6:55- aren't you forgetting that Whitfield and Duschene are both private schools and Whitfield is one of the most expensive in town?
