Sorry, no thanks, Affton has quite a few National Titles
lately. Jr Blues 4 straight, Midget Majors a couple of
years ago, and Pee Wee Majors last year. We kind of know
what its like to go to Nationals and win. I see its a new
feeling for you, so the only thing you can do is come on here
and be a smart ass. We should have invited you to see our
National Championship trophies, that way you could see what
it was like.
Last 5 seasons: Affton National Championships 6
Chesterfield National Championships 1
Keep working, you may get to 6 in a few decades. |

this is why people get on here and rip the tier II kids. Instead of being proud of themselves and just shutting up they sit here and post some stupid message like this. You can sit and be proud of your accomplishment but in no way can you compare tier II hockey to tier I so go ahead be happy but could you just stop this stupid line before we all decide you are worthless. |

How about Tier III Juniors? Can we compare that? I like how the guy adds Jr. Blues to the Affton accomplishment list when all they do is try to convince people it is a separate run program and then take credit for it.

| Re: the national trophy is here | April 8 2008, 11:32 AM |
If its a seperate run program, why do the Jr. Blues play
at Affton. Why is there a Jr. Blues direct link on the
Affton website? Why are a huge majority of the players
over the years from Affton? Need I say more? |

Not as well as the past 4 seasons, but they have
raised the bar pretty high. Back to Back to Back
to Back National Championships. |

| Re: the national trophy is here | April 8 2008, 11:32 PM |
affton is completely seperate from jr blues. otherwise cfield has 3 national championships one this year mm, one from the most dominate team ever in stl mcrae's AAA and one last year from real hockey tier 2 jr a. and unlike the jr blues' jr b nationals the bandits play real hockey. and 14 kids on jacks roster this year didnt play affton hockey and 9 did the rest not sure about. so the kids deffinately are not all affton benders. |

| Re: the national trophy is here | April 9 2008, 12:13 AM |
who said jr blues qualify as an affton organization, and if they do then c field has the best organization in town with the bandits, and aaa, so if were talking whos arena fosters the most talent or the best hockey players that is most definatly c field. Jr b v jr a and aaa, pretty obvi |

10 or 11 kids on c field MM from St. Peters. So what's your point? |

| Re: the national trophy is here | April 9 2008, 9:05 AM |
the point is affton doesnt have 6 national championships they have 1. the peewee one doesnt matter its peewees cool and jr blues national championships dont count for affton. |

Pee Wee one doesn't matter? Tell that to the kids
that battle every year for it. They might as well
not Regionals/Nationals at Pee Wee if it doesn't
matter. I bet if your kid won at Pee Wee it would matter!! |
|

| Re: the national trophy is here | April 14 2008, 12:16 AM |
the kids cant even play at that age so why would it matter. the thing it shows the most is good coaching not the strength of the team |

A National Title IS a National Title. Whether it is
at Pee Wee or Midget. Congrats to Chesterfield for
their recent Midget Championship, and to Affton for
a Midget and Pee Wee Championship in the last 3 years.
I do have to say that the Jr. Blues Championships can
not really count for Affton..not an Affton youth team.
Their 4 National titles are for all of St. Louis. |

12:16 are you trying to say that pee wees are not eligable to play or are you trying to tell us they aren't capable at that age level? Either way you look at it you are wrong!!! |

peewees dont show their talent at that age maybe it would count if it was a tier 1 but tier 2 nnot so much |

| Re: the national trophy is here | April 14 2008, 3:35 PM |
So when does Tier II count? bantams? mm? MM? Jr's? or does it ever count because it will never be Tier II? Or are you one of these people that no matter what the case it is never good enough until you make it to the NHL, win the Stanley Cup and the Conn Smyth and then you probably wouldn't have deserve it anyway.
Seems USA hockey thinks otherwise. These kids "show their talent" to the best of their ability at this age level.

Thank You, someone else with some sense on here.
Winning a National Championship at Pee Wee is no
less important than at Bantam or Midget. The kids
work very hard, and play against the best competition
in the country to be able to say "I am a National Champ"
Don't try to take that away from them. |

| Re: the national trophy is here | April 14 2008, 6:26 PM |
peewees dont count because every kid isnt developed to their potential so a star his peewee year could not even make a varsity public school team by the time he gets to high school. max baron was use to be the 2nd best 90 in st louis now hes playing jr b and most the 90s on AAA are better then him now. |

| Re: the national trophy is here | April 14 2008, 7:29 PM |
PeeWee teir II championship does not count? You've gotta be smoking crack to think a tier II MM championship is more important than pPW. By the time kids turn 16, the top players have so many option available to them MM tier II is reidciously watered down. It's great CHA won, but to say its better than a PW championship because PW are "undeveloped" is insane. When the top tier II PW's become 16 or 17, they'll be playing at a higher level than MM tier II.....Again, it's great to see the MM get a championship, but they really are just playing out their eligibility......the real studs are playing AAA and juniors while these guys a touting their tier II championship. |

pee wee is worthless.. unable to even skate.. cfield deserves all the respect winning at MM going through a tier 1 team. Affton may catch a break next year who knows. Keep up the good work CHA |

| Re: the national trophy is here | April 14 2008, 10:02 PM |
7:29 if they were good at peewees they would play tier I at that age because only a few are developed at the midget age all the kids are developed so even tier II is real hockey unlike that at peewees. And CHA only lost to AAA by 1 and they had their minor teams goalie in for 2 of the goals so obviously the studs arent playing tier I. and as for them playing juniors CHA would give jr blues a good game maybe win and their only good players are either 88s or 87s(with the exception of buerkemper) and CHA would have beat jr lightning. CHA also beat team MO which had 5-8 junior players and 5-8
AAA players. There was a AAA team in their nationals also so i dont want to hear tier II is where the bad players go to play at least half the team could be playing on a descent junior team next year if they wanted to. |

10:02 you said "if they were good at peewees they would play tier I at that age because only a few are developed at the midget age all the kids are developed so even tier II is real hockey unlike that at peewees"
let me understand this, so a kid that was born in Dec 92 is developed but a kid born Jan 93 isn't, or does this qualify as one of the few that are developed? So players develop at midgets, thats the level? Interesting.... and you are an authority on this how? |

| Re: the national trophy is here | April 17 2008, 3:55 PM |
hey retard kids develop at different times the older you get the more kids are developed so there is less depth the younger they are by the time they are midgets they are almost all developed |

I've got one too from "06. I heard there

shit. We dominated chesterfield for the
6 years I played at Affton, it took you long
enough to get a ring. Affton must have had
a real off year for you guys to win. Better

Good one. No, the spot on the novice league is
reserved for you, and the rest of the 4th liners.
Make sure you thank your teammates for getting a
ring for you. Did you get a ring for keeping the
bench warm too? Or maybe filling water bottles?

Cfield only lost 2 games all season 1 in league and 1 at nationals. it took cfield 13 years and affton 30 so you should be talking about how long it took cfield to win. Cfield's team this year is the 2nd best tier II team from stl ever and the best was also a cfield team... Basil's team speaking of that when was the last time a kid from affton projected to go 2nd round! CHA has the best club around |

I think everyone realizes CF had a better team
than Affton THIS YEAR, you wouldn't make it to
Nationals if you didn't. The question is what
about the last 10 years? If you guys get this
excited about being the best once every ten years,
its going to be a long 9 years coming up for you.

If you are related to a former NHLer, you already
have a leg up on everyone. Even players like
MCrae have a chance to make it. We don't need
former NHL players to develop talent, been doing
it many years without them. |
