FHC COACHES AND STATUS (ALSO PLAYERS)

Gordie Howe

Hello Tony and other distinguished board members.

I would like to offer an opinion as to the state of your club.
Terry Yake, what a joke this guy has never been a good coach. JP is never at practice and the kids do not respect him for this very reason. Kenny is enthusiastic, but does not understand the game well enough to help. FHC loses 13 or more seniors and underclassmen that may not return. Many sources say Blake Ditch will not play senior ice season, and Jeff Menendez may not wish to play anymore since he played little in the playoffs against SLUH. Stupid coaching when he had been converted to forward and was the #3 point man on the team and #2 in goals scored. Great job JP and Kenny for benching a gifted scorer, you may have lost him for FHC next year. Andy Ruhlman may not play his junior year, just unenthused about hockey at this time. My guess is JP and Kenny will find something better to do and will walk from FHC. I guess you must look outside for help or promote Hauser who coached the JV team this season. Plus the membership need not have Tony Shearon back in power or Kelli either. They are both cancers and offer nothing positive to the members. FHC should have been playing CBC tonight and with the way CBC's goalie played the FHC kids might have stood a chance for an upset.Early prediction for next year is JP and Kenny will bolt, you'll be lucky to find a cardboard cutout of Terry Yake and if you choose Hauser you will be losers every night you play. You all have the board to thank if this is true, they blew the chance to lock up committed coaches last spring and now your club could stink for many years. Great job Secretary Felps, President Shearon and Registrar Kelli. Henry and David you may not be as guilty, but it did happen on your watch! To young to inexperienced and no consistency in your coaching or club philosophies. Good luck with the miracle it will take to fix your problems.

Mr. Hockey
Gordie Howe

RIPPING FHC PRETTY HARSH

they did just finish a good season, but coaching was inferior at all levels is a true statement. jv won playoffs at fhc, but none of these players are ready for prime time varsity and your little goalie "scooter" is very unproven. My advice is to not promote Hauser if JP, Kenny OR(Yake) all run away to do other things. you will need coaches that understand the game are dedicated and can teach the game better than Scotty Bowman. Too much individual play from best returning players and no defense in sight. you may want to give dave dollar the opportunity you gave to johnson several years back and see if he can build some success from the mess that will permiate fhc next year. I agree with MR> Hockey (Gordie Howe) it is time to totally redo the board and come to one philosophy that if followed will bring back up time again, but not soon.

wink wink my team looks forward to switching roles next season and beating fhc varsity two times next regular season. i will be the one dancing a jig next fall when this occurs. then you will know who dear abby is.

To mr howe how do u figure fhc should have been playing cbc? sluh was definatly the better than fhc they had a good shot of beating cbc and gave them an exciting game with huge crowds. fhc wouldnt have been able to handle cbc at scottrade it would have been another cbc blowout. Sluh gave cbc a close game that could have went either way.

I agree with Gordie. FHC coaching was far inferior and unprepared compared to SLUH, or even the previous coaches at FHC. I've seen many of their games, from this past season and the year before and the two before JP and Kenny had much more respect from the kids. I saw them at numerous games that did not involve their team, scouting a team that they would see soon to prepare their kids for what was needed for success. When asked if he was going to match lines against a team who had one line who did all the work, JP's response was "don't worry about the other team, we're better than them, we'll win anyway, just worry about us". NOW THAT'S GREAT SCOUTING!!! I've heard many times that Kenny and JP know so much about the game, they would take these kids to the "next level". I'm not so sure what next level they have made it to, but congrats on making it there. Last season you lost to the first place team in the league, which you played closer in a two game series than CCP did in one game at Scottrade. This year, you lost to the second place team, who then lost to CBC at Scottrade. Sounds like you guys really went to another level on this one. Terry Yake is only good for hitting on Cheerleaders. That's all he did for most of the games he was there. If I may quote Charlie Conway: "A washed up pro showing off to a bunch of kids".

As far as Tony, Kelli, and Felps go I'm not sure what to tell you. They are all three idiots and have no idea what is going on. Kelli Syrigos and Jeff Felps are only there to make sure their kids got time on varsity despite the fact that they didn't deserve it. Hauser was a terrible coach, even at JV. His job at JV was to prepare the kids on that team for Varsity next year. I'm pretty sure that didn't even come close to taking place. My guess would be: Hauser showed up at practice and made his practice plan on the fly, and showed up to his games with no idea who he was playing or what they would need to do to counter the other team.

To all the future FHC Spartan Players, parents, coaches and fans: Good Luck, you're going to need it.

you people are pathetic FHC coaching staff didn't lose it for you. They got there team so pumped up for the first game against SLUH. The fact that your players couldn't show up for the next night is sad and all on the FHC players. It looked like the players were still hungover from Thursday nights victory over SLUH, so I'm gonna say bad parenting
