While most people would spend their wedding anniversaries at some posh resort or on a cruise, I will be spending mine camping. I joke with my co-workers that I'm "dragging" my wife along, but the truth is we're both looking forward. We'll spend a couple days in Gettysburg (where we had our Honeymoon) and then we'll be heading down to Virginia to camp in the Shenandoah valley for a few days, finally we'll be heading back up home to Johnstown but we'll stay at the Route 30 shelters for a night or two first and do a ton of hiking.
Been about two years since I've done any camping, let alone on the LHHT. (Sad since I live five minutes from the 271 trail head.) I'm actually more pumped about that than the camping in Virginia (not that I'm not excited about that as well!)
