What's the best way to pay fees for thru-hike. Simply pay as you go? And it looks like we have to reserve shelters. I'm not exactly sure which shelter areas we'll be staying at and which ones we will not, depending on weather and how sore my feet and back get during hike. I just figure it will take us 5-6 days to hike it. How do we handle that with the LHHT park service?
Hammocks rule for us older hikers! And with tree hunggers, no ropes touching tree bark. Very safe for trees. Sure hope we can use them. Will free up shelter for others!
