One of the issues of these kits are that the instrument panel does not reach the coaming.
Though HC has the correct depth for the instrument coaming, the first step to hide the gap is to extend it further into the cockpit. In this case a shaped piece of 15 thou card starts this process.
A section of 10 thou was added on top to fit 'inside' the windscreen and to hide the previous join.
Final step and the most fun part was detailing this addition with 'BS Detailing'! As long as it looks busy...
The aft canopy housing is wide open so this was covered with a piece of 15 thou card that will also seal the aft canopy join better.
This too received some bogus card detailing.
