We have about 20 pages of discussion covering just over years (!) here.

I'm thinking of just running one forum, called the Snake Pit. The pit has been around since about 2004 maybe earlier. Mostly armour guys, but some sci-fi and aircraft builders too. Its very similar to what we have here - Jim C can fill you in. I can give everyone here access to it, I'm sure you would all be welome and then just delete this whole DG. It's kind of a free fire zone...you can post stuff there you wouldn't post to a full-access DG, only members can access the forum.

Or, I can keep this DG up & running.
