Bad ending

I agree about the ending. The story started off strong and had a lot of action at first, but then it just sort of loses steam. The idea of Mulder and Alex having chemistry and reacting to each other was a really good one, but then it just fizzles out at the end. A lot of other things were left hanging too. It seems like they had a good idea but didn't know what to do with it after awhile. It's more like a WIP than a fully finished story.
