Exercise Programming and Motivation in Long term care

It is an undisbuted fact that exercise is important (indeed necessary) to reduce the risk of falls, maintain mobility and preserve an acceptable quality of life for the elderly residents of long term care and assisted living facilities. However the challenge is in motivating the residents to participate. This forum will be an exchange of ideas and strategies regarding exercise and motivation in long term care. Activitiy Directors, recreation therapists, rehabilitation staff and administrators are welcome to participate in this discussion.
