Looking for confirmation that he was a crew member on the Jagersfontein at the time it was sunk by U-107. He was from Holland. I understand that the Swiss Ship St. Cerque dropped off the survivors of the sinking on Gilbraltar.
Any one that can help me find confirmation or lead me to a new trail to follow - I would appreciate it. I do not believe he was one of the Dutch gunners transferred with the US military personnel - but have not ruled that out.
