I'll say yes to that. Contemporaries of the Seahawk, combat planes developed towards the end of the War reached the pinnacle of piston power and with form following function, are among the best looking of all. The US Navy was blessed with the best - Bearcat, Tigercat and my all time No.1, the Douglas Skyraider. Damn, why did the War have to end so soon!
