Response to CONCORD's OJ-2s

OK, they're not photos but aviation artists usually strive for accuracy and must've gotten the details from somewhere. Except, why are these OJ-2s fitted with landing gear (6-S-7 with arrestor hook) and not floats?

Here is 6-S-7 Bureau no.9200 from USS CINCINATTI (CL-6) Autumn 1935.

Note the squadron insignia for VS-6 - might come in handy for ID purposes where the squadron markings are obscured.

Regards,

Jacques.
