Please don't misunderstand me...I'm not against space exploration, and I think Obama was very wrong to -- if not outright kill, he certainly emasculated NASA.
What I am saying is that his argument is unpersuasive..."Oh, if we just go off into space, our economy will improve."
Yeah, right.
That's too easily countered with the fact that NASA costs a lot of money, so how would this improve our economy? "It will make people more innovative. It will make people more motivated."
Will it make him pull his head out of his ass long enough to point to a quantifiable benefit of space exploration? Or at the very least, one that isn't purely speculative?
