It reminds me the famous Jon Stewart interview where upon the CNN reporter in a bow tie defended against Stewart's charges of CNN's converting news to theater by complaining that Stewart's interview of John Kerry was shallow. Stewart famously replied "my show is preceded by muppets making crank call, you're CNN!"

It's not "idiocy" the way I see it. It is CNN being CNN,as an intergral part of the propoganda machine of the Obama administration. I mean after all they put HS students on who did a "performacne" singing and dancing for Obamacare! So naturally they will take offense from ANYONE, including a comedy show, that makes fun of Obama on substantive issues. let alone "fact checking" wholey fabricated quotes from Rush Limbuagh before they broadcast them around the world! Nothing CNN would do to advance Obamas agenda, protect leftist democrats, and deamonize anyone effective in opposing them would surprise me.
