"U.S. completes encirclement of Iran- military officials say they can break Iranian forces in less than a month

Posted on May 2, 2012 by The Extinction Protocol

"May 2, 2012 PERSIAN GULF - As the U.S. beefs up its military presence in the Persian Gulf region, Pentagon strategists estimate that they would need less than a month to defeat Iranian forces should a military conflict take place. U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) believes it can destroy or significantly degrade Irans conventional armed forces in about three weeks using air and sea strikes, a defense source told The Washington Post. We plan for any eventuality we can and provide options to the president, Army Lt. Col. T.G. Taylor, a spokesman at CENTCOM told the newspaper. We take our guidance from the secretary of defense and from our civilian bosses in [Washington] DC. So any kind of guidance they give us, thats what we go off of [sic]. The American military has been building up its presence in the region amid rising tension in the area. The U.S. Navy currently has two aircraft carriers deployed near Iran and is upgrading mine-detection and removal capabilities. The U.S. Air Force recently dispatched a number of F-22 Raptor strike fighters to a base in the United Arab Emirates. The move caused backlash from Tehran, which said Wednesday it threatened regional stability. Deploying a floating base in the Persian Gulf a converted transport ship that would serve as a semi-stationary base of operations for the U.S. military is also on the table. USS Ponce is expected to host mine-sweeping helicopters, speed boats and probably commando teams. The Pentagon has also intensified training of elite troops of its allies in the region. The members of the Joint Special Operations Task Force-Gulf Cooperation Council commando team, who serve as instructors, may be ordered to go into the field as well, should such a need arise. The measures are taken as contingency for possible attack by Iran on U.S. troops or blocking of the Strait of Hormuz, the vital oil transit route, the U.S. says. CENTCOM says there are about 125,000 U.S. troops in close proximity to Iran. The majority of them 90,000 are deployed in or around Afghanistan. Some 20,000 soldiers are ashore elsewhere in the Near East region; and a variable 15,000 to 20,000 serve on naval vessels. RT News"

Hedz:

Al Jazeera has displayed an interactive map that shows the encirclement of Iran by means ofour bases that wind from Pakistan to Haifa and back around again.

Though lines have been drawn

separating into nations the people shown by the map,

almost all of those people are Muslims.

History appears to teach

that pressed hard enough

the lines that separate those people

will dissolve

and their religion will remain

and the Muslim people thoughout the world

will unite against us.

Should such a thing happen

it is unlikely that any force,

or combination of forces,

would be strong enough to overcome such people.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Should we strike Iran

we could not occupy her.

If we could occupy her

we could not hold her, and

if we could hold her,

we could not do so for long.

What would we gain if we struck Iran

and "defeated" her?

Would we remain bogged down
in Iran

as we have been bogged down so long
in Afghanistan

and as we were bogged down so long
in Iraq?

Will the time come

when

we the American people

will be pressed hard enough

that we will regard the Washington establishment as our enemy?

We would not strike Iran to occupy or hold it.  We would strike to degrade its military generally, and elminate its nuclear weapons program that is a threat to regional and world peace, and I would add, in violation of international law an UN Resolutions.

Now we are preparing a European nuclear "shield"
positioned so as to take down Russia's missiles as they go up and
Russia's senior military is telling us that should we proceed with such positioning
Russia will place short range missiles on its borders and in its European enclave

and those Russian missiles will be used for a preemptive strike
against such shield
should Russia judge circumstances require she do so.

We have no quarrel with Russia

save for her interfering with Israel's mad wish to strike Iran

and to dominate the Mid-East.

Our wars are sucking our blood.

Something needs to be done---

but what?

Shock, our difficulties with Iran are sourced in 1) fulfilling the PNAC plan for conquering Iraq, Iran to gain control of primary mid east oil resources, and 2) Syria while to neutralize threats to Israel while we're about it. No doubt the trans Afghan pipe line's no longer one of our priorities since it's out of Conoco's and the US oil cartel's grubby hands now, but bases surrounding Iran and bordering Russia certainly arepriority, probably more so now that Russia's committed to defending Iran if we/Israel do attack. Come to think of it, neutralizing Russia was an objective of the neocon/PNAC agenda as well, was it not? Well, at least the myth of antimissile systems deployed against Iran's finlly dissipated. They were always intented to countrer Russia's nuclear missiles. REmember the book On the Beach, btw?

Howl with the wolves

No score for this post
May 4 2012, 12:08 AM

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>The constant drumbeat of the media hate machine against Israel has the same effect on Europeans and some Americans that Der Sturmer's hate sheets did on ordinary Germans. Bias, hate and bigotry free some to be Nazis, and teach others that it is best to go along with the crowd. Max von der Grün wrote about his childhood growing up in Nazi Germany. The title of his book was Howl Like the Wolves. When the wolves are howling you had better join them, or be prepared to take on the entire pack. And eventually most people begin to howl too. Some howl quieter than others. Some howl just for show. But others get into it all the way. Some who were once lambs become the worst of the wolves, because they find strength in being a wolf.

What the Nazis knew is that weak people are drawn to identities that give them strength. So many timid people looking for a way to express their anger. A chance to be wolves rather than sheep. A chance to hurt someone, rather than be hurt. To release all their decades of grievances and grudges on a deserving target. To whine like a mosquito while drinking their fill of blood. The ecstasy of crowds at Hitler's speeches, was the pathetic and disgusting sight of weak-minded people eagerly transfigured with a feeling of strength. The Jihadist who kills himself among a crowd of the innocent feels that same ecstasy. The savage joy of a manipulated sheep who thinks that participating in violence somehow makes him a wolf.

Allah Akbar or Heil Hitler, it makes no real difference. Both mean the same thing. It means that I am strong because I am the tool of those who are stronger than me. Who are more ruthless than me. Who give me orders that I will follow, because I lack the initiative to make my own decisions. Tell me what to do, and I will kill, a single man, or a million. It makes no difference. What matters is that sense of strength that comes through unity. A billion bodies and one mind. One will. One Fuhrer. One Reich. One dream. And in the middle of that dream is the Jew.

The Bad Jew who stands in the way of that overpowering unity. A foreign element. An interloper. The one thing standing in the way of all those people feeling their strength for the first time. All those strong people suddenly made weak by his very presence. Humiliated. And humiliation is the one thing that cowards and the weak-minded can never forgive. It is why they become Nazis and Islamists. To feel strong. To overcome their personal humiliations in a mass identity. When their mass identity cries "Kill the Jew", and the Jew survives, then they feel even more humiliated. Then they feel weak and the only thing that will make them feel strong again, is revenge.

Think about it. Think about Marc Garlasco talking about how an SS jacket is so cool, "makes my blood go cold". Or the Chairman Of Finnish Amnesty International calling Israel a "scum state". Helen Thomas telling Jews to go back to Poland and Germany. Oliver Stone discoursing on how Jewish influence caused Hitler to be misunderstood. The Daily Mail shrieks, "Israel Accuses UK of Anti-Semitism", a headline that echoes, The Daily Express' famous 1933 headline, "Judea Declares War on Germany". Jewish stores and companies are boycotted. Papers from Jewish researchers from Israel are rejected. Wolves must howl. And howl they will. Some are true wolves, eager to spill blood. Some are only weak-minded people looking for an enemy to give them strength. And some only go along out of conformity, echoing the opinions of those around them, clinging to them for comfort. And the drumbeat goes on.

The media's Anti-Semitic hate machine does for the far left, what Der Sturmer once did for the far right. It makes their hatred and bigotry mainstream. It feeds the wolves. It teaches people to be Nazis. To find strength in an age-old hatred for age-old reasons. To howl at the Jew, while the Muslim slits their throat.

You've told how skeered you are of the Muslims and what supermen they are -- jess like the Nazis. We can't beat em, eh? You sound like Adrian in those Rocky movies.

Like all antisemites, you're a bully and a coward! But I forgot.... You mentioned what fine fellows the SS are. Did they regale you with tales of what they did to us Jews? Was it fun to hear your buddies pontificating on this?

Your cowardice and abasement will not work when dealing with Muslims. Your eliminationist antisemitism will not help the world, let alone us Jews.

"Antisemitism is the intellectualism of stupid people."

So those of us antizionists who see that Israel's aggressiveness may well trigger world war III are arbritrarily antiSemites because we don't like the Israli government's very dangerous policies? That's utter bullshit. So climb off your "poor me" pity pot. JDL and ADL do a fine, highly successful job of combatting your now largely imaginary discrimination. Our demands that Israel be reined in have nothing whatsoever to do with Judaism.

No one hopes for nuking Israel. Every rational people hopes that Israeli aggression and war mongering will be reined in before it does trigger nuclear war, which will not be confined to Israel, the Islamic states and the mideast. Quit playing the persecuted Jew role and atart lobbying for equitable, cooperative resolution of the Palestinian issue, which in itself will significangly reduce tensions. Face it, if war breaks out between Israel and Iran, immediately involving Russia, China, and the US in accordance with mutual defense treaties, Israel will start it, cheered on by irrational US Zionists of the PNAC, Jinsa and Aipac persuasion.

head'sup:>>>>>>>>>>>>>>No one hopes for nuking Israel....
Utter garbage! Ahmadinijad does and I suspect you and six campaigns do, also. There are now almost six million Jews in Israel. The murder of those people (my people) would sure bring back wonderful nostalgia for certain people on this board -- and in the evil world at large.

Hopefully, Bibi Netanyahu will realize that the world is populated with people such as you and take action to stop Iran's evil goal of getting nukes and using them.

You and six campaigns and maybe even Jel will go crazy and scream; however, if you guys do that then, maybe we can set your screams to music and make a music video out of it.
