Surprise team in the CIHL this year in my opinion. What is going on did they not give a F%ck during the whole regular season? Will be hard to beat Kitimat but the rampage did it so anything can happen. Kitimat has dealt with some drama this season should be a good series between them. I'm stoked for this one probley will be deadly

Kitimat leaving good players at home for the last game makes all the sense in the world, next two games at home, and there will be two games, means more revenue, Hazelton will get eaten up alive in kitimat. both games will be blow outs.. and in the long run it will be Terrace, kitimat and Smithers being the CIHL representatives for the Coy.

Darrell gives Demons too much credit...

for being devious. We didn't leave players at home.

It's a new world with the economy the way it is, the shift work
manufacurers are not as keen on accommodating a hockey team's needs.

When players have to work, they have to work and when they're injured and unavailable there's not a lot of flexibility in player numbers at this stage of the season, with rosters cut back and players needing five games. This is impactinbg Smithers too -- they'd like Dykens back in the line up as much as we'd like Hewey, Bossence, Plante and Fisk...(that's about 50 points there, and we had Terry Whelan unavailable for work reasons Saturday -- that's another 27 points...). No excuses, we could have played better, but it's tough to play three wingers at center...and get the same impact.

Demons will however, be as complete as possible Saturday and Sunday and
will put in maximum effort to win the Division and be ready to defend the championship and the Coy Cup.

Tap me on the shoulder Saturday for that beer...

Our players know what we owe the fans and simply don't give it up easy...

Hazelton will give a good effort but, i think will run out of gas Saturday nights game will be close score but Kitimat should win. Sunday game will be all kitimat. big ice will hurt Hazeltons fore check. if they stay out of box they will be in every game. We as refs know we miss some ... we don't need to be called a f'n idiot because you'll be watched like a hawk!
like my old coach in Bantam Rep used to say "INITIATE don't RETALIATE".

So Adam and Phil behave boys and it should be a great 2 games!

Good luck to both Teams see ya on the ice. Im babysitting a blue line lol

dont care who wins as long as it good hard and clean Hockey. I get along with most players in league. We all got to go to work the next day. I just think Kitimat will have an edge on the big ice because of contitioning
