Several seasons past I posted seeking possible Coaching Position within an organization and possible leads to local employment!
Have over fifteen years experience at the minor-pro/US College/Junior and Senior etc.
Willing to relocate from Ontario with appropriate opportunity.
Thankyou

Burns Lake is starting a new team this year and may need a coach... don't know for sure... I believe Omineca's coach last season was an interm guy so they may be looking for someone who can be more permanent and committed. Not much for employment opportunities around BC's north though, not sure what your looking for. Might want to contact those teams though.

Go Stamps Go!

I've heard that the Burns Lake Braves have inked Tony Tanti to a deal to fill their coaching void. Word is Omineca has been speaking to Ed Dempsey about their own coaching vacancy.

As usual, beinmg able to assist with finding appropriate work will be the stumbling block in most of the communities when the Central Interior Leagueoperates. Especially in today's economic climate in our communities, most which are resource-based.

But we would all like to see some individuals with some professional qualifications operating within our league. To date, I believe most of our teams are coached by individuals with extensive minor hockey and community hockey backgrounds.

That's no criticism either, because many of these guys have been doing a great joband making big contributions to the well-being of our ailimg or in some cases, static, communities. Try to keep this thread near thetop with the occasional adition, guys???

I hear that the stampeders position is available every fall... They could use a new face and only have had one person apply the last few years. So with your background u could b a shoein and work at defending the COY!

Brad Fox Rumour?

I heard this just a while ago that Brad Fox, former BCHL coach has left the WL T WOLVES to coach with the Stamps? He was just apparently signed in the last few days...

Anyone from Williams Lake clarify on this? Rusty?

Also a team that may need a solid coach could be Terrace now or Omineca... I don't know what the situation is over in those communities.

Good luck buddy, sound like a good coach.

Brad Fox came out of the Coaching ranks in the Junior B KIJHL. He spent only a few weeks with the Junior A Timberwolves before packing it in and leaving for the KIJHL once again.

Dave Dupas is now the Head Coach of the Williams Lake Timberwolves, while Kelly Kohlen, (brother of Timberwolves co-owner Richard Kohlen), will remain as the Williams Lake Stampeders head coach for another season.
