how does a depleted ice demons team take a point against ther puddle on the road? Everyone has been talking about how good the stamps are gonna be this year. without mildenberger, he is arguably the best d-man in the league, that should be a hole you can't plug, and yet the stubborn demons refuse to go silently into the night. did all the goalies stay home papa? when was the last time the demons gave up 8 goals? |

To answer your question foggy... it's hockey! anyone can beat anyone and you have to work for every win. Good teams like the Demons find ways to plug the holes and battle through injuries and absentees.
The Stamps were also without some key guys. Francis Johnson, Nathan Zurak and Brandon Cox(if he is playing, not so sure anymore).
Go Stamps Go!

I agree the Stamps have not shown how good they should be. Everyone was talking them up pretty good before the season started.
Who was in the pipes for these two teams last night?

Any night - any team --can't underestimate any opponent. Both teams have beers after the game and each other -- "it'll be different tomorrow!"
I for one hope it isn't -- tis game was all hockey -- fast - lots of errors and forced errors, a ton pf skating, passing and shooing and yes, a whole lot of great saves and defensive play. I'd rather see a last shot wins game than any sticks up, fight filled defensive rumble any time
