Apparently the Braves are bringing a player from Prince George for this weekend tilt in Houston. Afellow by the name of Brian Matte. Played for the P.G. Cougars for a season or two. Had decent numbers. Are the Braves short handed or are they just beefing up the roster for a dog fight Saturday night? Maybe Craig Cox could shed some light on this.

I'm hearing the Luckies have a few imports themselves. In the line up tonight will be the twins Flair and Erek Binelle. Also back on the blueline tonight will be the one the only Rod Langway.

eI heard that Shane Walsh wasn't making the trip tonight but Brian Matte is going to jump into his spot with the Weber brothers. Should be a fun night I can hardly wait. His stats look good and if he played with the cougars last year he is definitley going to have some skill.

Matte played in BCHL for the Quesnel Millionaires and didn't pile up overly good numbers, but was a very good story last year for the Cougars. He didn't even get an invitation to camp, but asked the GM if he could walk on and made the team as a 20 year old and was one of the leading sscorers on the team. He will be a huge pick up for the Braves.
