its quite simple if your going to drop the gloves don't make an ass out of yourself doing it!!

someone hits a team mate that is smaller or in dangerous position mmm ok drop the gloves

someone harassing your goalie mmm ok drop the gloves (goalies will let you know who they want destroyed trust me)

someone runs your goalie well sucks to be him

drop 2 quick goals mmm tough one.. you can try and find a dance partner thats willing go but don't don't just jump someone.

never fight for yourself and you wont look like a clown

follow these simple rules and everyone will know why your fighting and it won't be labled "dirty hockey" just "old school hockey"

Don't mention a 2 fight rule. Jeeezzzz, I've done it a few times and had hitmen from Kitimat follow me around for a couple of weeks. Papa might not be so against it now though where his son isn't playing. It is something that would clean up the league. Hummm, might make Terrace accountable for all of this dirt that everyone keeps talking about.

Agreed.... all these littl pukes on some teams fourth lines would lose some of that courage they have when they swing thier sticks at other team top players. Would get rid of alot of BS... not to mention allow some of the league tough guys an opportunity to entertain the fans now and then.

I just checked out some game results on pointstreak from another league that I follow. They have a 2 fight rule in place and there were 3 fights in 1 game, and 1 in another that was played lastnight. In the game that had 3 fights, one team has alot of dirty players that like stick work. I'm guessing that the other team didn't like it. My buddy is a part owner of a team that just drafted Craig Martin. He can be found on hockeydb. http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php?pid=3424

He is asking for $500 a game. All of the money is payed out in wages as there is no travel. The furthest any team travels in no more than 2 hours so they pay big dollars for wages to get high caliber talent. Sam was saying that they will play Craig for a weekend and go from there. He is hoping that they can get Craig to play for $400 a game. Not bad money for playing a game that you love.
