The Kitimat Ice Demons hockey club will honor Canadian service men and women who have lost their lives in Afghanistan, with a memorial recognition before the November 14 game at Tamitik Arena against the Hazelton Wolverines.

The players will dedicate the game on the Saturday closest to Remembrance Day with a pre-game ceremony, also involving a number of local groups, including the Royal Canadian Legion, which will provide an honor guard.

All fans in attendance are being asked to wear red, a color that has come to symbolize remembrance and honor for our troops everywhere, but especially in Afghanistan.

Lest we Forget.....

All Gave some..... some gave all...
