After weeks of controversy the Hazelton Wolverines executive got together and hashed out their differences agreeing to come together for the greater good of the team. All of this year’s elected representatives have returned to their respective positions and hope to finish off the year on a positive note.

The exec, the players and coaches have reponded to the team's needs and got things back on track. It'll be interesting to see if they can pull the season out of the fire.
It never gets easier -- Demons are in Hazelton on Saturday -- and nobody expects to see anythuing like 15 goals unless that's the game total in a close one.
Looking forward to making the trip -- need you guys to fix the roof drip over where I like to standjust in front of the visitors' room door -- or do you arrange a new drip for any place I stand!?

I heard and read on the Hazelton Hockeyville website that as of "last year our community arena has been condemned" and that it will take effect in February. What does this do for the future of the Wolverines franchise? Any input from the community or thoughts from the forum? Would hate to lose any team in the CIHL as the league grew last year and is facing other challenges.

Hazelton should have been hockeyville, they have needed a new rink for years.30 below outside 35 below inside.you don't have to worry about the drips then.

I was there one night when the kids were about six or seven and it did seem colder inside than out. They were all playing with toques under ther helmets. Still, for some reason it's even colder in Burns Lake...!!!
