Looking at Pointstreak, that win puts the regular season title completely out of reach of any other team in the CIHL, with a 12-1-1 record for Kitimat with two games still to play against the powerhouse(?) River Kings.

As much as others on the forum may hate it, it looks like the Demons are once again the team to beat heading into the playoffs. But that doesn't mean they're unbeatable, and it'll be interesting to see how things play out once the puck drops in the playoffs.

Yes, the playoffs should be good. Especially Demons vs Steelheads.

Both have well skilled players.

As for your chuckle about "the powerhouse - Kings???" Enough already we get it they need to improve. It will take time our youthful talented players are coming!!!!!

Yes, the 17, 18 year olds that won "Provincials" last year. Very disciplined and will be around soon.

Agreed about the playoffs.

And while it was a bit of a dig, believe me when I say I really want the River Kings to improve and get back to their form from season's past. I remember watching Kitimat and Terrace play in the finals a few years back (think it was in 2006) so we know the Kings have that potential. Can't wait for the talented young players to take the ice and further develop...
