An interesting update on the Coy Cup.

With regrets, the Dawson Creek Canucks have pulled out of the competition due to a potential clash with their own league playoffs...so we are back to a four team Coy Cup and Scott Mastrodonato and his team are working on a schedule...

The CIHL will, as expected have two representatives, the east division champs and the west division champs...

Hotel spaces have been tagged and ice time booked and PRR is working on getting the schedule in gear, using CIHL 1 and CIHL 2, PRR (hosts) and Mid-Island as the four entrants.

So, one way or the other it'll be old-score time at the Coy in Powell River starting March 16 -- with semis on Friday March 19 and a final on Saturday March 20.

So let's just get behind our CIHL teams and make sure the Coy Cup stays in our regional area.

This should add some zip to our semis and finals -- no matter where they are...
