Mid Island 8 Williams Lake 7.

Final tonight Powell River vs Mid Island at 7:30 pm at the newly named Hap Parker Arena. If Mid Island gets a 'wee' bit of goaltending this will be really interesting.Mid Island certainly has speed.Should be a good match.

Extra day off for the Regals is a big bonus.Five games in five nights is not easy at any level of hockey but really difficult at the Sr AA or Sr AAA level.

Go! Regals! Go!

This was a really hard one for the Stamps after coming out really flat against a speedy Blazers team the Stamps fell behind 5-1 five minutes into the second. After that the level of urgency finally kicked in and the team showed alot of fight battling back and eventually taking a 7-6 lead with under 10 minutes to go, but the Blazers were able to tie the game and then score the winner on a terriffric goal with just 1:13 to play. Goodluck to both teams in the final... would love to see the under dog Blazers pull off the win, but the Regals have so much talent, especially on defence. Should be a fun game to watch.
