Steve Reid (http://hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php?pid=25973) Former Spruce King tough guy.
I heard a rumour that Steve has been looking at coming and playing with the hawks. he still has ties to the community and I spoke to him earlier this month saying he would really like to suit up in a mhawks uniform.
Also former cougar Kyle Kautz has been rumoured to be interested (http://hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php?pid=29231)
and last but not least Richard Peacock has been contacted by the mohawks organization (to my understanding) and been approached to play. No one is quite certain if richard will actually play as he has a past history with drugs and alcohol.

......like this is not going to help the Mohawks, in playing in the CIHL.
This only adds fuel to my statements, in player pool that PG has to select from. The end results and that includes WL is, that the teams in the CIHL now would not be able to compete. Competion, and we all have it in us, will dictate the Line-up for PG.
As a Hockey Fan I would love to see PG Mohawks playing in the CIHL, As a CIHL Fan, The Mohawks would destroy the CIHL League.

Prince George faired pretty well against Fort St. John, I can not see them at the AA level. What I can see is a AAA league starting up in BC. With Powell River, Prince George, Whitehorse and Fort St. John playing a short two game home and away schedule to start. Travel would be a bit of an issue but it could happen.

The Mohawks would definitly destroy any team in the C. I . H . L
but i would still like to see the team compete in the league because it would be entertaining to see these guys suit up and play some world class cihl hockey. the hawks can be a great learning curve for the cihl that could perhaps lead to many possibilities in the future of the senior game including a possible expansion to create some big cihl games and series between teams and cities respectfully.

also just food for thought i think PG could throw together a decent low level pro team if they wanted to. could join an american or start a new semi pro to low level pro league among founding comunities

Gary, Gary...
your just making **** up now. The Mohawks are not actively pursuing anyone to play next year. They asked nearly every high end player in town if they were interested this year and then waited to see who showed up at their practises. The Mohawks don't even know what they want to do next year and from what I understand, having spoken to Grant Williams, is that they are going to the CIHL AGM hoping to be accepted and they will pitch their case and see what happens. I
Everything on here is pure speculation from Gary and Steely. Let's wait and see what these guy have to say at the AGM and then make a judgement. Gary you acting like Stamps1 with your rediculous speculation and "my home town can beat the world" attitude.
