Luckies - Steelies Game 1

To be brief...heads up 2-0 after 1...played a solid road game, solid dump and chase, with a very good forecheck, Luckies unable to mount any offence and had very few chances.... 2-0 after two...Luckies tested Deba a few more times but really no offensive punch whatsoever...Steelheads stayed solid, dump and chase, rush when the opportunity afforded itself, and Deba made the few saves he needed to but still looked shaky...Third period Steelheads add another one and the Luckies tried to mount some sort of offence...unsucessfully...bottom line if the Luckies want this thing to go longer than two games they gotta figure out a way to get some offense...missing Marren and McKay is no excuse, you have to get more than 22 shots on Deba, and by my guess 22 shots is a generous count, the Steelheads did a fantastic job of keeping the luckies to the outside, and very few close in chances, When a rush from Bassani is one your best chances of the night you got problems to work out...The Steelheads look good, and if the Luckies cant figure out a way to get some offense next Saturday this will be a 2 game series...An editorial comment...for all the whining that Steely-on does about meatheads in the league, the STeelheads have one of the biggest in their lineup, and one day if he continues to dress and carry on his antics he will cost the Steelheads big time, noticed he did not play much last half of the game...One day I got to see that glass house that Steelyon lives in...
