Canucks played 2 games since thursday , they went to Grand prarie and lost 6-5 in a shoot out. And tonight they beat Horselakes newest version into triple AAA 11-9 . Canucks have great team speed and there depth is very good , once they get on the same page they should be very impressive. Horselake has some very good goal scores they can put a puck in the net very nicley , not much defence and no goaltending yet. Lots of talk who they might have linedup time will tell.

Dawson Creek Daily News
Led by Chris Stevens' hat trick, the Dawson Creek Canucks won 11-9 in a wide-open match against the Chiefs in Horse Lake Saturday night.
"It was a high one. It was a good game," said Canuck player-coach Adam Loncan, after the team's third game and second win of the North Peace Hockey League season.
Canucks Jeff Taylor, Charles Radke and Loncan picked up a pair apiece, and Jason Stark and Justin MacKay also scored one each.
Alex Gauvreau got the win in net for Dawson Creek.
The Canucks were coming off a 6-5 shootout loss Thursday night in Grande Prairie opposite the Athletics.
"We played really well. [Dawson Creek goalie] Lincoln Carriere was playing that night. We were up 5-3 going into the third, and a couple of penalties cost us and they tied it up. We went into the shootout. It went to the seventh shooter, and they snuck it by us," explained Loncan.
"We got the one point, but we were pretty happy about it considering how they have a pretty good line-up. We still didn't have a full line-up. I think we had three lines and five D. We called up Evan Weaver from the Juniors [Canucks], and he played really well."
The 2-0-1 Canucks are at home Thursday night when the Spirit River Rangers visit the Memorial Arena. Two days later the local senior men's hockey team is in High Prairie to play the Regals.
Elsewhere in the NPHL on a high-scoring Saturday night, Grande Prairie lambasted High Prairie 22-5, Grimshaw suffered an 11-6 embarrassment in Valleyview and Spirit River hammered the Lakeland Eagles 17-3
