Crowd when I watched HL play fort sask in HL MAYBE 200 , but in bentley yesterday some say 1500 watched, and when Bentley plays this weekend in HL should be a full building. Very good hockey to watch . Cant wait to watch now that the team I cheered for is out. Would be unreal to watch HL AND FSJ battle for the pacific entery into the cup final. Great for the NPHL

Same as all triple AAA teams have. Today HL beat Bentley 6-3 to take 3-1 lead. Today the Gens played 2 players from the NPHL donny lloyd and mike Lefely , not just HL taken advantage of NPHL talent.

Horse Lake Chiefs eliminate perrenial Allan cup favorites,Bentley Generals with a 2-0 win last night.HL takes the series 4-1 and now play Stoney Plain in the Alta. final. The Generals outshot HL 59-27 but could not beat Jase Weslosky,drafted 108 by the NYI in 2006.Apparently he stood on his head. winner of the Alta. final will travel to BC to take on either Fort St John or Powell River for the Mackenzie Cup and an Allan cup berth in Lloydminster.

Could the CIHL field a triple "A" team...say oiut of burns lake... using the other CIHL teams as their affiliates?

It would be a Triple "AAA" team and a CIHL ALL STAR" if possible it could represent the league in triple "A" action..... is that possible?

6-1 in the second and stormed back to win 7-6.HL won game 1 but had the win reversed for dressing one too many imports.game 4 this aft. and HL leads 2-1 in the second.

To answer the question ,could the CIHL do this. It is possible ,but one team needs to sign AAA and sign a roster and then you can have 19 affiliates from the rest of the teams in the league. Which means you could essentially have an all-star team.That being said ,most of the AAA teams have a few ex-pros and there are not too many of those in the CIHL.$$$ are always an issue for travel etc.Most of the big names don't just show up for the love of the game.Maybe if the steelies capture their first coy they will expand their horizon.
