Thought it was interesting that Kathy says he shot one of the bullets into the house beause he was trying to get her attention. If that's the case, then wouldn't that hint at the possibility that he was trying to get her to intervene. That kind of conflicts with her saying that he killed himself because of the pain. People who commit suicide usually do it for the attention, but if he really did it to end the pain, I don't think he would have tried to get her to stop him. Something doesn't seem right.
