You are right...

I don't know who would wonder why you feel the way you do about people (especially children) getting hurt. Do they not know empathy? You are not alone. I cried for a few days after 9/11 too. So sad. And, you are right, had they done something with him to begin with then maybe he wouldn't be out to do what he did this time. I read that they had no evidence. That it was a "their word against his" type deal. I'm sure the jury wanted to convict him, but if they cannot find him guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, then he is set free.... saddly this is our justice system. I work for a very large law firm in my state and sometimes I wonder what we're here for. Our hands are tied by our system. There is only so much we can do. Unfortunately, bringing someone to justice has "rules", unlike their actions. I believe that once a person commits the crime they have lost all rights. None of this First Amendment crap... if you want to follow the law, then follow it. But once you screw up, consider all your rights stripped away.

I'm sorry. That's just my opinion.
