THE CHILD IN ME
I know that I appear to be strong,
As far as the eyes can see,

But somewhere deep inside my soul
There is a child in me.

We cannot run away from our past
Or pretend that the bruises never did last

So if sometimes I need a hug,
Like a child with a badly scraped knee

Please understand that I'm not that strong,
And be kind to the child in me.

this next one is somethin i cant not wait 4 but could offend some peeps cause is religous..
THERE WILL BE A DAY.

There will be a day
When I leave this place
Have the honor of
Seeing my Lord's face.

There will be a day
When He holds me near
And whispers sweetly
In my ear:

"Welcome, my Sister,
You're Home now,
This is the Place that
our Father has prepared
for us"

There will be a day
When I will be free
No more sadness or sorrow,
for eternity.

There will be a day
When I will see
A world at peace
For eternity.
