I certainly can't say if the little girl in your dream was you or not, or if the experience really happened. Only you can determine that for sure. What I can say is that it is possible, as we do tend to often process things in our dreams. Mind you, sometimes we process them in a "distorted" way....meaning that dreams are not necessarily an exact replication of reality, but could be altered or merely representative. They can, however, be very really (what English I have here!) based on reality. Let me assure you that this does not make you crazy, nor does your wondering. Dreams of this nature, and memories of this nature (if, in fact, the dream is based on a memory) can be so hard to deal with. You're not alone, though.
