you can use your Cimex, to clean the floor and use a shop vac to pick up the moisture.

Now there are lots of articles online, I say use Woodpecker from Swish it is the best on the market, by far.
Then go to Bona.
Now if you want to get into deep cleans and refinishing, you have what you need already! Pick up a used 175hp rotary or a used wood version 175hp or a new.. read new Low Boy from Oreck,
Do you have a autoscruber now? either the brush or pad version, will work. With wood the brush is better. I just picked up a Windsor, brush extractor/autoscrubber and will be using it on the wood as well.

Look at Bona, Laminator Plus+, Basic Coatings, Wood Solve/Rx for Wood
All can be used by Carpet guys.
