Response to fuel injection where?
the injection is done into what they call the throttle body...

it's exacty analogous with a carburretor...

so the head is just the same as you're used to...

only exception i know of is the bmw k series motor, where the injector goes straight into the head (but still outside the inlet valve)...


Direct injection into the cylinder is beginning to arrive on some cars... Mitsubishi's GDI (Gasoline Direct Injection) is one of them...
