I found a pair of sealed 6v ones (something like 4 ah) going half price for about a fiver each, and since I've been running around with a shit battery for ages that only ever holds 10.5v I thought I'd buy a couple and plumb them in as 12v. It's amazing what a couple of volts difference does.
