Back at the Jimstead

with some NU metal on my leg which is both more awkward and excruciatingly painful than the last lot. i've been right on the limit of what i can stand since this morning when my seemingly-12-year-old surgeon came along and said actually mate i put half your leg on wonky by 4 degrees, just gotta twiddle a few of these screws....

he seemed dissapointed when i didnt make a sound despite the mangling of my bones into a new position - like what my mother would have described as a brave little soldier- and gleefully mentioned on his way out that the pain will build over the next half hour. he was right

bright side is i'm healing so quick it'll all be done and dusted by late april, no more metal and hopefully walking with just my rather suave cane. so i am definitely riding to R&S on the slabbie like a PROPER BIKER instead of resorting to LIFTS and CARS like a crazy crazy fool!
