Just looked at the wiring diagrams for US and non US KZ1000 R1-R2
they do have two flasher units but
one is for Hazard warning lights.
Otherwise, its the typical 1 flasher unit for both sides system you find on most bikes.
Power in to flasher unit on what appears to be Green/Red
Power out to indicator switch on Orange
Black/white right ?
Green( blueish?) left ?
I think !, the colours are pretty washed out on the copy I have
they appear to use black/yellow for ground wires BTW
I suggest that to avoid confusion, you do the indicators first then
hazards after if you want them
