Response to Bren, in your work place of wonder can you get me:
On my old BSA tank the hole for the fuel tap is 3/8 BSP (which is pipe thread like you say) and I've got a 1/4 adapter fitted into it so I could screw an air line snozzle into it to connect the fuel hose to.
On mine the 1/4 BSP hole is pretty small, so be sure of your sizes. I wouldn't think they used 1/8 but maybe they did.
Also if you can locate an inline fuel turner-offer like in that picture con you get me one too and I'll pay you for it? I haven't had a fuel tap for like two years ever since the diesel ate my plastic one, and I'm concerned about losing all my petrol if the carb bowl floods or something.
Which Bantam tank are you using? I used to have one of the ones with two seams down it and the small brass petrol cap on one side but it started leaking. Now I've got a different one but it's made stronger.
