Weird shit afoot

At exactly 3:30pm this afternoon the rain stopped.

I naturally assumed it was only a five minute lull as usual, but now the sky is blue and the roads are actually dry!

After like a week and a half of torrential constant rain the whole lot has suddenly ceased. The weatherman says that it will resume pissing it down on Tuesday and Wednesday, the very days that I have to work in London as a bike courier next week.

Then apparently a dark cloud is supposed to gather over me long about Friday and follow me all the way to some godforsaken outpost in a national forest in North Devon and piss down upon me for the entire weekend.

I ask you, what did I ever do to the Gods to piss them off so much?
