Response to trailer Q.......... |
| On the trailer I built in the early 90s....IT NEARLY KILLED ME...Lost control at50mph trailer bounced violently from wheel to wheel in a massive arc behind the bike....this caused the back end of the bike to fishtail wildly and the front end to tank-slap. It was only cause I was on a Roman road and had a chance to gradually bring the speed down in a straight line that I survived!!! VERY VERY SCAREY!!! I still have stains to prove it!
Also keep the wheels small, I used 2 spoked Honda 250 front wheels with different tyres...the inertia was wild and they caused massive bounces when hitting even a small hole/bump. Stick to matched wheels and little ones seriously and dont forget they need to 'tow-in' abit too!
