spotarama, where does one buy mudguards in this fair city?

The XS 400 street custom I'm working on needs a rear mudguard. We aren't paying Harley prices for one, where would you suggest? Has anyone in your club found a handy source of mudguards that look OK but don't gist a small mortgage to buy? Do any bike shops in Melbourne help out people who build bikes? Are there any trailer or truck spares places?
