1992 Draft is not Deep?

Scouts are saying this years draft is not deep. Drops off after the first 2 rounds? Anyone have a OHL draft list available? Who are ranked AA and A, B, or C?

they are right, just look at the gthl,

name four players on every team who could jump into an OHL line up now, they are after all 16

We all saw Tavares, Stamkos, O'Reilly, and lots of other players over the last 3 years, which kids are as good?

after a few on Jr. C and Marlies, there is nobody, NOBODY

74.13 your the same creator of the "who can play in the OHL next year" thread. You seem bitter about something. Maybe the O should cancel the upcoming draft because according to you...no one is going to play. There are and will be 16 year olds playing next year in the O and they won't all be from the first round either.

the OHL should move the draft to 18 and the NHL should draft at 21 if you really want to know the truth, its the only sport that drafts this early

take a guess as to why? how else would they support the OHL, AHL, JrC, JrB leagues run by old rich men with too much time on there hands

ask the NCAA, they look at Canada as a big joke

skinner and seguin would not last in OHL, they don't play defence and will back down when challenged

This years draft is not deep for one reason only;

Many of the top prospects are all taking the School route and reporting to Jr.A teams next year or playing another year on Midget AAA. SO the OHL scouts are all scrambling to see who will committ to them and who will burn them on draft day and waste an OHL pick for a player who will not report.

The OHL is great for those who think they can make the pro's in the next 2 or 3 years, which means 1 in a 1,000,000. You have to take your hat off to all those kids who have decided to go the school route whether NCAA or Canadian college, you are making the correct decisions and if you are good enough you will be drafted from school, no worries and an education and a lifetime experience to take with you forever.

Good Luck to all the 92's and looking forward to tonighs match up, good luck to both teams

Great rationalizing for the school route. Nothing wrong with the OHL route as long as your child is smart enough to realize that after he has played 3 years in the OHL and there is no chance for him to go further in hockey he takes his game to the Canadian University route. Nothing wrong with a degree from Queens, University of Toronto, McGill, Western, etc.

Scouts are saying after the 1st round it's a toss-up. 92s aren't that deep this is very week draft year. Some scouts are already paying more attention to the 93s.
