A team named Select92 consisted of a few Jr Canadien, Senators and Markham players won the championship this past weekend. There were players from other teams also but a solid group of players coached by Rick Irons.

Refereeing was a joke.....looked like a bunch of old Adult league refs and were used and some GTHL refs officials from single A . They seemed to think they can cruise their way through a summer tournament. A lot of games had only 2 linesmen, no ref . The 2 linesmen couldn't keep up with the play(or didn't care).
Competition of top 1992 teams was good ......lots of ties in round robin games and lots of OT in playoffs. Lots of drafted kids there.

Tournament was great and very well organized considering they were using 24 pads a day. I'm sure it is not easy finding refs for that many games this time of the year. Will miss this tournament as my 92 kid moves on, still the best spring tournament hands down.
Lot of drafted kids there....who are you kidding ....they must of been the has bin draft kids......The only joke of the tournament was the regional express organization.......They are from brantford.......oh yeah the hockey town......what a joke.
