We need some kind of kooky contest for the guys. Henry felt discriminated against 'cause he couldn't bring his house shoes. By then, a prize for the most great grandchildren, there are bound to be some. Also, maybe recognize the long term marriages (30+ years), not with certificates, just acknowledgment; it is an accomplishment now days. I appreciated the recognition for those who served in the military. Since we are the Vietnam generation, maybe recognition for all classmates or spouses who served there.
For the website, possibly a public address book with contact information, at least e-mail, maybe postal address, for those who would like to contact one another in between times. For legal reasons, would have to be done only with permission. Also, possible birthdays and anniversaries, and encourage personal announcements, like weddings, promotions, retirements, bragging rights on the grandkids, etc.
