Is this Patti Newberry? I remarried in 1999 to a wonderful guy who is so good to me. I have no children. However, I have 3 stepchildren, 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild who I adore. They all live in Arizona except for 1 stepson, Rich, who lives in Fredericksburg VA. Since I live in Alexandria, it takes about over an hour for us to visit. Rich has just gotten out of a relationship and working several jobs to stay on top of his bills. We saw him every weekend until about six weeks ago so we do miss him.
I am working in Personnel for the Federal government. I'll be eligible for a reduced annuity in two years and the regular annuity in 3 1/2 years. I'll retire in two years if Mom isn't doing well. My husband wants to come back to Clintwood when I retire. He is already retired from the government but has a job working full time. I guess he loves to work. I am really looking forward to retirement.
So how are you and your kids? What did you serve for Thanksgiving dinner?
