And Marlene, once registered, as long as your health remains okay, you are still on the list. You don't do more testing unless you are a potential match for someone in need.
Your original blood test would be entered into the computer so that your blood markers are on file for anyone who would match up. If that happens, they do further testing to see if everything is a go.
It is good to check in with them periodically to let them know your health status and any address changes, etc.
